A few days after the Facebook IPO, which made Mark Zuckerberg a billionaire, Facebook’s COO Sheryl Sandberg gave a speech to the 2012 graduating class of Harvard Business School. Incidentally, Sandberg became a billionaire as well. During her speech, in a half-whimsical way she uttered these words: “Keep in touch via Facebook; this is critical to your future success. And since we’re public now, could you click on an ad or two while you’re there?” Yeah.

I wish that Tumblr had custom 404 error pages

I love Tumblr, how customizable it is and being able to do almost anything possible with it. It really makes it the best blogging platform around, and for that I am grateful. Not to mention all the wonderful people on Tumblr, which adds the social experience to it making it even better than one can imagine. Impossibility in it’s purest form

The Penrose triangle is an impossible object, which an optical illusion that has a two-dimensional figure which is interpreted as a projection of a three-dimensional object, although it is not geometrically possible for such an object to exist; whew. Martzi Hegedus took this illusion as inspiration, and created a typeface based around it called Frustro that it out of this world.

His imagination held no boundaries. May the Force be with him.

Steve Jobs, Clint Eastwood and others photoshopped into Russian Generals

UK artist and Photoshop extraordinaire Steve Payne has created some fantastic portrait illustrations using celebrity faces and a digital copy of the old Russian General portrait originally made by George Dawe. English artist George Dawe painted over three hundred portraits of Russian generals during Napoleon’s invasion of Russia for the Military Gallery of the Winter Palace.
