Android Market has reached 10 billion downloads

Apple’s App Store opened in July 2008, about three and half years ago. Just earlier this year in January 2011, Apple announced that they reached a pinnacle of 10 billion app downloads. On the other hand Google’s Android Market opened around the same time as the App Store, in August 2008.
