Apple mini-stores will be in your local Sam’s club soon
When you do your bulk grocery shopping at your local Sam’s club in the near future, you may be able to step foot into a mini-Apple store according to 9to5 Mac. Sources are saying that Sam’s club, which is a subsidiary of Walmart is in talks with Apple to expand their already Apple friendly in-store sales to open them up to mini-stores within Sam’s club locations.
It’s also said that Apple is looking to expand beyond Best Buy and Target, so they may be in talks with more stores than just Sam’s club. The Target mini-stores are still in a testing period, which just started at 25 locations in January of this year.
Since it’s early in the discussions, not many details are available yet. It’s also unknown if Sam’s Club parent company Walmart will also be included, however I think Steve Jobs would turnover in his grave if he saw mini-Apple stores inside of Walmart. But it’s all about the bottom dollar, right?
